Dowen College parents hold candlelight for Oromoni
A group of parents from the Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos gathered together on Wednesday night in front of the school premises to hold a candlelight procession for the late Sylvester Oromoni.
Oromoni, a 12-year-old student of the school was allegedly bullied to death by some students, who tried to initiate into a cult.
The candlelight event started around 6:30pm, as the parents mourned the demise of the boy.
They wore t-shirts with the inscription, “Dowen parents mourn.”
They were armed with placards, which read: “We all rise for justice for Sylvester Oromoni.”
