NSCDC SEIZES 117 kegs of petrol from suspected vandals

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Lagos State have seized 117 kegs loaded with suspected vandalised Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) en route to the Benin Republic.
The operation was truncated on Friday by the marine and anti-vandal team of the Badagry Division during routine surveillance and patrol following intelligence about the activities of suspected vandals at Alakoto-Meji, Badagry.
The seized product is worth about N500,00 according to a statement by the Corps spokesperson Seun Abolurin.
He said: “About 02:15 of Friday, March 4, 2022, we arrested some suspected vandals who attempted to siphon 117 25litre kegs, loaded with petrol, from Alakoto-Meji, Badagry, to the Republic of Benin. THE NATION
